Terrified Tea Party

Thrift Shop Hell

Part of my photo project Thrift Shop Hell, documenting weird and wonderful thrift store finds from the Upper Midwest.

Terrified Tea Party

Terrified Tea Party

This picture doesn’t really do this tea set justice. These guys are tiny. It’s like a tea set for dolls, or evil china clowns (probably evil china clowns).

The miniscule size makes the faces even worse. They are so small. Someone went through such effort, meticulous effort, to carefully paint every lip and eyelash.

End result: decapitated porcelain dolls whose delicate, empty skulls double as tiny serving tools.

This one gives me the heebie-jeebies.
